Parafilm M is the laboratory standard for sealing vials, flasks, tubes, and laboratory containers against evaporation, contamination, and spillage. This roll of thermoplastic stretch film provides a moisture-resistant, flexible seal across a wide temperature range.
Parafilm M stretches to 200% of its original length for conforming to irregular surfaces including vials, Erlenmeyer flasks, and centrifuge tubes. Water vapour transmission rate is very low, making it suitable for sealing peptide vials during storage. Temperature range -45°C to +65°C for use across standard laboratory storage conditions from liquid nitrogen to standard incubators. Self-sealing — no adhesive required.
